1 - The first frame of fifty, a tracking shot from behind the apple boy on a tree limb.
2 - The first and last frames overlapped so I can draw the tree as one image. Luckily the same section of branch was in all 50 frames.
3 - Outlined and colored tree. Left some room above and below the shot just in case.
4 - Drew and colored a field as well as a Chinese cityscape in the background. I'm planning to match it up to the background movement of the live-action shot.
5 - Added sky and the apple boy. His limbs are all separate layers, as is the sword within the sheath. This is an overview of the entire scene, but the final rotoscope will be a tracking shot within this scene, with each layer moving to match its place in the live action video.
